Gothic and Lolita

Last Saturday there was a Gothic-prom in Vienna and since I come from a Gothic -background, I really enjoy these proms ^^

Normally I don't wear Lolita to such events. Sometimes I go for mash-ups between Gothic and Lolita and I end up not posting these outfits here because firstly, they are not Lolita and secondly, I don't want to offend anybody.

The Outfit I wore last Saturday could be called "extreme Ero Lolita" ^^ I enjoy pushing boundaries as you may know. I think I did a pretty good job with this outfit :D

Blouse, Skirt, Headbow: home made
Socks: Metamorphose
Bag: Angelic Pretty
Necklace: Alice and the Pirates
Shoes: An*tai*na

Point of fashion: Wear a "extreme Ero Lolita"-outfit for a Gothic prom.

I know my loyal readers like any of my outfits or are honest enough to tell me what they don't like. But still, I won't post such outfits in the future. I don't want to offend anybody and I don't want to give a wrong impression to a random blog-visitor. Do you think that's the right decision? And what do you think about the outfit? Tell me in the comments below!

23. Paint your nails in a cute way

Today I crossed out the first thing on my "30 Lolita Things In 150 Days"-List. *yay*

I painted my nails in a cute way. Not matching to my outfit but still cute :D

I used pink and glittery pink nail polish, a silver glitter nail liner and lace nails stickers. My nails don't photograph well but the look really sweet. The nail stickers don't stick too well but it will work for a couple of days.

Have any of you started your own list? I'm really curious about it!

Aninite 2011

Yesterday was the first day of the Aninite. I went there with a friend of mine.

Uhm, you may know that conventions are not really something I enjoy. There are so many people, it smells funny (like sweat, plastic and cooked meat) and I can't talk to other people because I have no idea what they are talking about. Animes? Mangas? What? ^^"

My friend and I got there at half past 5. The con opened at 4 so we thought half an hour later would be a good time. Well... not really :D There was a giant line in front of the entrance. So we decided to get a cup of coffee. But when we got back it wasn't any better and it started to rain.

Over all it was quite nice. I met some really nice people, my friend and I hunted down other Lolitas to take pictures of them and I was able to catch up with an old friend.

Outfit:
Dress, Socks, Bag, Necklace and Bracelet: AP
Cutsew: Baby
Shoes: An*tai*na

Point of fashion: Put on something not too fancy for a afternoon at the Convention.

Two things that bothered me were 1. the organization was horrible, 2. 16€ for a dayticket is way too much! I didn't pay that much for the Japan EXPO in Paris in it's the biggest convention in Europe. Yeah, I enjoyed the afternoon but I probably won't go there again. For me it's not worth the money.

What do you think about conventions? I know, many of my readers are from Germany and I know the conventions in Germany are much bigger (and better). Do you like it?

30 Lolita Things In 150 Days

Hello Ladies!

It's September and I'm officially moved out of my apartment, which means I'm back in Eisenstadt with my family. Eisenstadt is a great city, I like it a lot. But I miss the other Lolitas soooo much! I already feel like I lost the connection to them so I have to be extra committed to keep in touch and don't loose them. That would pretty much break me for ever.

Since this is a new star for me in some way, I want to start something new ^^ Logically, right? You may now the blog-challenge "100 Things In 1000 Days". You write a list of 100 things you want to do in 1000 Days. But since I know myself and I know that I'm waaaay to impatient for something like this, I will shorten it and make it Lolita-related! I thought 30 things in 150 days would be good. Also, I think finding 100 Lolita-related things would be very hard. This is my list:

  1. Attend a regular Lolita meet-up
  2. Attend a winter-Lolita meet-up
  3. Wear Lolita to university (casual would be fine)
  4. Wear Lolita to work (casual would be fine)
  5. Wear a full Lolita outfit to a "Gothic-prom"
  6. Bring more Lolita to your room
  7. Go to the "regulars' table" at least 4 times
  8. Order from Closet Child for the first time
  9. Organize or at least attend a Lolita Christmas-party
  10. Finish your Lolita coat you started to sew last November ^^
  11. Sew a black velvet Lolita skirt
  12. Sew a chiffon and lacquer Lolita JSK
  13. Sew a chiffon Lolita blouse
  14. Sew and sell bloomers at a local boutique
  15. Reload your old Lolita brand
  16. Create a concept for a fashion show
  17. Write a tutorial for a headbow
  18. Write your first hair tutorial
  19. Bake ridiculously cute cupcakes/cookies
  20. Host the most clichéd tea party in the world :D (and if it is only for yourself)
  21. Write a valentine
  22. Play secret Santa with the girls from the big Lolita-circle on Animexx
  23. Paint your nails in a cute way (maybe even matching to your outfit)
  24. Order the blond/red Rockstar Wig from GLW and wear it with your Candy Treat JSK
  25. Sell at least one piece from your closet that you don't wear any longer
  26. Take a picture of a tourist that tries to take a picture of you
  27. Have an awesome photo shoot in a studio
  28. Post a "transformation" blog entry (from pyjama to Lolita ^^)
  29. Post a "What's in my closet" blog entry (or think of something better for the last but one point)
  30. Host another give away
And now I challenge you to write your own list. Happy blog-challenge-ing :D
